College of William and Mary

College of Wiliam and Mary is a premiere research institute globally recognized for its uniquely designed science curriculum and meticulous liberal arts. The college was founded in 1693 by King William III and Queen Mary II of England. It was the first institute of America to grow into a university and the first on the list to form a Greek Society. The campus is situated in Williamsburg, Virginia, and is in proximity to Lake Matoaka, Martha Wren Briggs Amphitheatre, and College Woods. The college is committed to superior quality teaching and has a teacher to student ratio of 11:1, which is the lowest in comparison to the top public universities. The college houses Earl Gregg Swem Library, Reeder Media Center, Muscarelle Museum of Art, and other attractions to enhance the student experience at the campus. Amongst its long list of distinguished alumni are three presidents of the United States of America, namely, John Tyler, Thomas Jefferson, and James Monroe.
